Vattenfall Planned access

Vattenfall is one of our oldest clients. The last three years, they have been using GoWorkforce for their access control, contractor and safety management during turnarounds at their five power plants. Before working with GoWorkforce, the registration and validation process of (sub)contractors was a labour-intensive and error-prone process due to the lack of a centralised system. In order to create a permanent solution, Vattenfall implemented GoWorkforce on all turnarounds at all the locations in the Netherlands. This way, they dropped a multitude of stand-alone registration processes and started using a generic portal that could be used on all turnarounds.

For every turnaround, Vattenfall is now able to easily create projects and assign contractors who on their turn are invited to add subcontractors to the project. GoWorkforce makes the the registration and onboarding of the (sub)contractors as easy and efficient as possible. The registration process consists of filling in the prequalification questionnaires (RFI) based completely on Vattenfall’s requirements as well as watching the port instructions. The software automatically identifies if all information is complete and in accordance with Vattenfall’s compliancy policy. Vattenfall can now set the bar for the safety standards of their workforce and automatically provide access to everyone who lives up to them.
